It's really beautiful, composed of several pieces of white porcelain which fit together like a puzzle (note: marble base shown in photo not included.)

I'll keep the auction open for one week, unless someone gripes that that's too short, and then I'll reconsider.

I'll start the bidding at $50.

Yes, that's kind of high for an opening bid on a silent auction, but I want this piece, so you'll have to pay up if you want it.

Thank you all for coming out, the event was a success! The 'lark was crowded, we raised a bunch of money, people got some great art and interesting stuff, and Kim had a blast.

Yep, Tim over at Rivethead.tv will be making and donating t-shirts. As per request, you may be wearing your very own help cones.

We will also be raffling off one of the shirts. For five bucks a chance, if you concentrate on this being the prize you want, you could win the pizza.

In her biography, designer Wanda Cobar (above photo from her site, liquidcouture.com) sites the six months she spent recovering from knee surgery as a time that sparked her creativity. She will be donating a dress for silent auction.

Heather Barstow, of Heathers Cafe Couture, will design your clothing and your coffee, and is donating four garments. The lack of apostrophe in the name of the shop/cafe is not a typo, there is more than one Heather. The other Heather will be putting together a gift basket with coffee, tea and goodies. Her last name was not mentioned in the comments. That does not make the goodies any less yummy.

This is the sauna at Ray's Bucktown B&B. Ray has donated a weekday night stay for the silent auction. Bid Bid Bid and you may spend a calm night away from home, or have somewhere for out-of-town visitors to stay. Either way, quite relaxing. Thanks Ray.

Added some New names in the artist column: Kenneth Morrison, and also The Thin Man. Jerry Boyle will be donating "The Labia Menorah "(It lights up!).

Plans are in the works for a cheery lunch with Kim at a restaurant near her apartment. Drop us a line if you want to join in. (for those readers who already know Kim)

I talked to Kim today, her excitement for the fund raiser has transferred to her Doctor who assures her he will schedule the first of her surgeries, a skin graft, after the fund raiser. She may attend the fundraiser, depending on how she feels.
